Hide Tanning Camp
Our ever popular, long standing hide tanning camp!
Learn how to make a buckskin in the environment it was made to be made in- around the fire, in nature, in community.

1-1 tuition in the tannery
You are invited to come and learn in the tannery in a relaxed environment, bring your own skins or use ours, and tailor the time to what you most want to learn.
Contact me to discuss what you want to learn and we can work out a plan.
Please bear in mind that the whole tanning process isn't normally possible in a day, so you may need to stay near by or travel to the tannery on several different occasions, depending on what you want to make.
My tannery is essentially quite basic and not difficult to replicate, so you should be able to take away the skills as well as an understanding of how to set up your own working space.
